Hi Jen! For those who are not familiar with you and your blog, could you tell us a little about yourself?
If you're new to CoaP, hi! I'm Jen, I'm a 16 year old from Connecticut who goes to a boarding school in Massachusetts where I'm a junior. My style can be labeled as evolving since in the past few years, it's done just that! I love shopping, spending time with my family, and (of course) blogging!

Why did you start Confessions of a Prepster?
I started Confessions of a Prepster because I needed a creative outlet! Between school, sports, and friends, I wanted something that I didn't have to think too much about and where I could just write about things I'm passionate about, like fashion and food.

Blogging can sometimes be hard. What has been the hardest part of having a blog?
The hardest part about having a blog is being consistent. I have a lot of trouble at school with such limited free time keeping up with my blog. But that's what's awesome about being able to scheduling posts and social media! Even if I can't post everyday, I try to Instagram at least once a day to make sure I'm not completely quiet.
You have such a great sense of style! If you could describe it in three words which would you use?
Chic. Simple. Comfortable.
Where is your favorite place to shop?
Club Monaco!
Do you have any goals for 2015?
My big resolution is to continue to evolve my style. I'm trying to keep my style from being super preppy and instead much more classic and timeless.

How do you balance running a blog, going to school, doing activities and staying social?
Like I said, it can be super tough! But I use free periods and weekends to write and schedule posts. I also make an effort to not be too hard on myself if I can't post more than once a week or not at all. I would rather write one, awesome post a week than five, subpar posts in a week.
Where do you hope to see yourself in 10 years?
I would love to be an accountant in DC, blogging on the side!
Do you have any advice for someone that is wanting to start a blog?
My advice would be to look for inspiration everywhere! I find inspiration in magazines, my friends, and even TV shows. Also remember to be yourself and be original! People are reading your blog to hear from you, no one else!
